TV presenter Holly Willoughby is one of Britain’s most loved faces – not just for her beaming personality but her effortless looks too
TV personality Holly Willoughby is known most for her glam blonde tresses, which she normally wears out in loose waves
The signature hairstyle often worn by the host of This Morning is perfectly polished waves worn loosely around her shoulders – and she favours a natural but glam beauty look, with defined eyes and rosy lips.
Holly’s hair colourist Sinead Kelly revealed the star dyes her tresses using Garnier Nutrisse box dye in the shade 10.01 – and it rarely, if ever, changes.
To add a more natural finish, Sinead then goes back in with Garnier’s multi tonal babylights to reach each and every last strand, giving the star’s golden locks a perfected finish.
Holly will often style her hair the same way with hair stylist Ciler Peksah going for soft, natural waves
To achieve Holly’s perfect waves, the star’s hair stylist Ciler Peksah revealed she uses Aveda Texture Tonic on damp hair before applying heat.
Next, she’ll go over her locks with a hair dryer to give it thickness and volume.
Once it’s “bone dry”, Ciler uses a curling wand – specifically the brand Hot Tongs – in a size 32, the larger the better, apparently.
To create the wave she simply wraps the hair around the wand once creating an S shape.
Previously posting on Instagram, she revealed: “Hot Tongs is the brand. Size 32. Dry the hair and then use a wand, wrapping hair around once creating S shape.”
And explained: “I finish with a spritz of Colour Wow Cult Favourite Firm + Hold Hairspray, to set the style.”
The TV host will often go for a glam up-do at red carpet events or when hosting Dancing On Ice
Holly prefers to wear her hair down in loose tousled waves, but her hair stylist said Holly isn’t afraid to try out Bohemian-inspired messy buns or pretty plaits on at Red Carpet events.
Ciler hasn’t yet revealed exactly how she creates the look, but you can do something similar in a few easy steps.
After washing the hair, add some dry shampoo to give the hair some volume and grip before styling.
Holly likes loose strands of hair around the face, so use a curling wand to create soft curls which will add a touch of glam.
Next, pull the rest of the hair back into a loose bun and pin it into place for a relaxed but glamorous look.
For a messy bun, Closer Online says to start by either spritzing your hair with some volumising spray or by backcombing some of your hair to give it volume and texture.
Then create a ponytail where you’d like your bun to be and secure with a hair tie before twisting the ponytail softly around the base.
Secure with some hairpins and pull out some strands for a messy, more relaxed look.
