With conservative website The Daily Wire, Gina is set to work on a new movie project, which she will develop, produce, and star in herself.
She told Deadline: “The Daily Wire is helping make one of my dreams — to develop and produce my own film — come true. I cried out and my prayer was answered.”
Slamming cancel culture, Gina continued: “I am sending out a direct message of hope to everyone living in fear of cancellation by the totalitarian mob.
“I have only just begun using my voice which is now freer than ever before, and I hope it inspires others to do the same.

Details regarding the plot of the new movie and when it will be released have not yet been shared.

Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro said of the partnership: “We could not be more excited to be working with Gina Carano, an incredible talent dumped by Disney and Lucasfilm for offending the authoritarian Hollywood Left.

“This is what Daily Wire exists to do: provide an alternative not just for consumers, but for creators who refuse to bow to the mob.”
He continued: “We’re eager to bring Gina’s talent to Americans who love her, and we’re just as eager to show Hollywood that if they want to keep cancelling those who think differently, they’ll just be helping us build the Xwing to take down their Death Star.”
Gina portrayed the recurring role of Rebel Alliance soldier Cara Dune for the first two seasons of The Mandalorian.
She was previously slammed after mocking mask-wearing amid the coronavirus pandemic and for falsely claiming there was voter fraud in the last election
She sparked a huge backlash earlier this week for comparing US politics to Nazi Germany, saying of the extermination of millions: “How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?”
The outspoken conservative actress and former mixed martial artist was fired soon after.
A spokesperson for Lucasfilm confirmed that Gina will not return to the show, stating: “Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future.”
