Tonight on YouTube was the first-round for the Japanese side of the AEW Women’s World Title Eliminator Tournament brackets. This tournament has been separated into a United States side and a Japan side to determine a number one contender for the AEW Women’s World Championship. The four matches that aired included the following:

These results leads to the two semi-final rounds of Yuka Sakazaki taking on Emi Sakura and Ryo Mizunami taking on Aja Kong.
As for the United States side of the brackets, Thunder Rosa already advanced in a spectacular first-round match against Leyla Hirsch on last week’s Dynamite. This week we will see the NWA World Women’s Champion Serena Deeb take on Riho. Other first-round matches to be determined for the U.S. are Tay Conti vs. Nyla Rose and Dr. Britt Baker vs. Anna Jay.
The winner of this tournament will receive a future title shot against AEW Women’s World Champion, Hikaru Shida.
