REAL Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, have been hit with a federal tax lien for over $64,000 just as the star dropped $3.3 million on a mansion with her new boyfriend.
The Sun can exclusively reveal a federal tax lien notice in the amount of $64,157.64 was filed against Teresa, 48, and Joe, 48, on January 8, 2021.

Tax drama continues to haunt the RHONJ star, as she was released from prison in December 2015 after serving 11 months in prison for tax fraud.
Joe was released in March 2019 after serving 41 months behind bars.
He was transported to ICE custody and later deported to his native Italy, where he remains today.

The couple was ordered to pay $414,588 in restitution, which has since been paid off.
The tax lien comes on the same day Teresa closed on her New Jersey mansion with boyfriend Luis Ruelas.
Teresa and Luis dropped $3,350,000 on a Montville Township, New Jersey home on January 8.
The 7,728 sqft residence boasts seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, three half-baths, and a long list of amenities on a nearly six-acre piece of land.

The first floor houses the kitchen, dining room, living room, office with wooden furniture and a large brown leather chair, laundry room, and one bedroom and full bath.
Five more bedrooms, another laundry room, and four more bathrooms can be found on the second floor.
The master bathroom features a jacuzzi bathtub, large standing shower, two sinks and a gorgeous chandelier.

The basement of Teresa’s new place is completely finished and features the final bed and bathroom, as well as an exercise room and rec room.
The mansion is complete with an extravagant movie theater featuring rows of red leather armchair seating with cup holders, velvet curtains around the screen, a large concession stand with a popcorn maker, film decals and movie posters.
There are four fireplaces throughout the manor – in the family room, living room, recreational room, and the first bedroom.
