Ian Beale star Adam Woodyatt reveals he’s living in a field full of COWS on break from EastEnders


SOAP legend Adam Woodyatt has swapped Walford for a new base that’s straight from the set of Emmerdale.

The actor – who is most well known for playing Ian Beale on the BBC soap – moved into the amazing mobile home after his split from wife of 22 years Beverley Sharp.

Adam Woodyatt he walked out of the show last year and he’s now set to star in a touring performance of My Fair Lady.

The actor now lives in a £100,000 motorhome as he pursues his stage career and he revealed that as he prepares for his opening performance in Bradford next week, he’s living in the Yorkshire countryside.

Adam has parked his home on wheels in a farmer’s field – right next to a herd of cows in the rolling Yorkshire countryside.

ITV soap Emmerdale is filmed nearby in a rural set on the edge of Leeds.

Adam will kick off My Fair Lady at Bradford’s Alhambra where seats cost up to £70.

The show will play to audiences at seven top theatres in the UK and Ireland with up to 30 performances per venue.

Adam will play Alfred P. Doolittle in the show alongside opera superstar Lesley Garrett and Emmerdale favourite John Middleton.

Adam quit Walford in January last year to star in the stage adaption of the Peter James crime book and appear in I’m a Celebrity after the storyline required him to leave for a period.

His portrayal of cop Roy Grace received rave reviews from audiences.

He made his last appearance in Looking Good Dead in Cheltenham at the end of April.

But the star – who now chooses to live in the motorhome after splitting from his wife – opted not to return to EastEnders and he has spent the summer making personal appearances at festivals.

Adam – who has a passion for cooking – even helped out swabbing dishes at a mate’s restaurant in Cambridge and cooked burgers at s Car Fest event.
