Who is Matthew Macfadyen?
Matthew Macfadyen was born in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk on October 17, 1976, which makes him 46-years-old.
His mother, Meiner, worked as a drama teacher and actress, whereas his dad Martin was an oil executive.
At 17, Matthew’s talent for acting was apparent when he was accepted into Rada.
The actor first hit the spotlight in 1995, when he began taking up theatre roles.

In the BBC Two series Ripper Street, he played detective inspector Edmund Reid.
Macfadyen won a TV Bafta in 2010 for his work on Criminal Justice.
In 2017 he starred in the new BBC adaptation of Howards End as Henry Wilcox.
He won high praise for starring in ITV’s Quiz in 2020.
Since 2018 Macfadyen has played Tom Wambsgans in the Emmy-winning HBO drama series Succession.
When did Matthew Macfadyen marry Keeley Hawes?
Matthew met Keeley Hawes on the set of Spooks in 2002, while married to first husband Spencer McCallum.
They divorced in 2004, before she wed Matthew in November of the same year.
Matthew and his wife Keeley have two children, Maggie and Ralph.
Keeley also has a son, Myles, from her previous marriage to Spencer.
